Description:

Oregon's largest and fastest growing outdoor country music festival. 2015 Main Stage Entertainment Friday, August 14 1:00PM Music Gates Open 3:00PM Jackson Michelson Jackson Michelson Singer-songwriter Jackson Michelson hails from Corvallis, Oregon. Drawn to performances that inspire him, he places his focus on creating an intimate, entertaining live experience for fans. Raised on country, rock, reggae and soul music, Jackson will bring a smile to your face with raw country jams like The Good Life and make you melt with the heartfelt Fire Burns For You. I tried to learn the trombone at age 12, but quickly learned I couldn't play and sing at the same time, which gravitated me toward the guitar, says Michelson, Writing songs came naturally after just a few days. Get ready to be wowed by the personality and passion of this up-and-comer. 5:00PM Amy Clawson Amy Clawson See Amy in her element as host, master of ceremonies and entertainer at the Bi-Mart Willamette Country Music Festival! Amy has been described as one of the most energetic entertainers of today, with a show that varies from traditional country to rockin' original country songs to gospel, her favorite part of the show. Once you've seen her, you'll be a fan! 7:00PM Scotty McCreery Scotty McCreery After winning Season Ten of American Idol, Scotty released his debut album the best-selling solo album released by a country artist in 2011. That album, Clear As Day, was certified platinum for sales of one million in just thirteen weeks. The first two singles from that album were also certified gold. With album sales of more than 2.3 million in just three years, Scotty McCreery has emerged as one of country's hottest new stars. His deep voice and an irresistible sound create the perfect blend of contemporary and traditional country. His new album, See You Tonight, debuted No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. He co-wrote his current single, See You Tonight, which is certified Platinum and as well as his first Top Ten hit. Not long after, the single, Feelin' It, became his second consecutive Top Ten hit. 9:00PM Rascal Flatts Rascal Flatts Rascal Flatts performances are state-of-the art, house-rocking, sold-out excursions into musical excitement! All of it stems from the magic that happens when their voices unite. Jay and Gary, from the Columbus, Ohio area, and Joe Don, from Picher, Oklahoma teamed up in a club in Nashville's Printers Alley. We knew right away we had something special, says Jay, even if we were the only ones who ever got to hear it. They quickly earned a record deal talent, drive, and great song selection did the rest. Their list of hits constitutes one of the great bodies of work in modern country music, with These Days, Bless the Broken Road, What Hurts The Most, My Wish, forming just the tip of an ever-expanding list of hits. They have seen 14 singles hit the top of the charts, spending more than eight months collectively at #1. Even in a career as filled with music and milestones as that of Rascal Flatts, there are times when capturing the moment isn't difficult. Sometimes, it only takes a word. The release of Changed, the trio's eighth studio album, is a great case in point. Everything is in this big crock pot called Changed, says Gary with a laugh It's got meat, potatoes, vegetablesall of it. It's fun, it's poignant, and we think the hard work that went into it has really paid off. And we're very glad to take one more big step down the road. We're excited that road will bring Rascal Flatts to Brownsville in 2015! Saturday, August 15 11:00AM Music Gates Open 1:00PM Native Run Native Run Partners in music, Rachel Beauregard and Bryan Dawley grew up 20 minutes from each other in the rural/suburban sprawl of Northern Virginia. Both classically trained, their musical growth was shaped by church, where they eventually came together after college. Working odd jobs and teaching music, the two started writing together and knew they had something very special. Their unique sound is hard to define, but undeniable. As their major label debut takes shape, Rachel and Bryan continue to follow the music and the inexplicable magic that first brought them together. 3:00PM Charles Esten Charles Esten Charles Esten has performed in the West End of London for British royalty, the White House for George H.W. and Barbara Bush and, possibly the biggest honor, for over 4,000 country music fans at the Grand Ole Opry. He's made both British and American audiences alike laugh with his frequent song improvisations on Whose Line Is It Anyway? But, we know him best for his role as the afflicted and talented Deacon Claybourne on Nashville. We can't wait to see him Saturday at the Festival! In the meantime, we'll be listening to a few of our favorite Deacon songs, like Sideshow and Playin' Tricks. 5:00PM Pam Tillis Pam Tillis Pam Tillis knows all about breaking the platinum barrier. She's a 15-time CMA nominee and 2-time winner, a 9-time Academy of Country Music Award nominee, a 2-time Grammy award winner and 6-time Grammy nominee, an American Music Award's nominee and a 2 time IBMA nominee and one time winner. Pam has always insisted on writing and cutting songs that speak from the soul. With more than 30 singles charting on US Billboard charts, 10 studio albums including her 2002 release, the critically acclaimed It's All Relative (a tribute to her father, the great Mel Tillis), and her 3 releases Rhinestoned, Recollection and Just In Time For Christmas off her own label, Stellar Cat Records. Pam Tillis' star continues to shine brightly in the 3rd decade of her career. 7:00PM Dustin Lynch Dustin Lynch Dumb enough to give it a shot Dustin Lynch followed his music dream, after graduating Pre-Med from David Lipscomb University. Today, he's heralded as the heir to George Strait's throne, walking a line between country music's past and its future. Lynch's self-titled debut hit No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and the lead single, Cowboys and Angels, exceeded platinum sales. His sophomore album, Where It's At, is filled with lyrically meaningful and memorable songs. Hell of a Night percolates with an edgy energy while Middle of Nowhere explores the complexities of being stuck in the friend zone. After Party celebrates his rural roots in Tullahoma, Tennessee. This young man stands with an abundance of raw talent and an unwavering work ethic; he's seizing his moment and making the most of it. 9:00PM Luke Bryan Luke Bryan Luke Bryan's life as an entertainer has been full of pinch-me moments. The Leesburg, GA, native and reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year is at the top of his game and yet, his new album, Crash My Party, proves he has no limits. Full of playful longing, the first single Crash My Party, beckons, come love on me.' Over a million fans have done so, as indicated by copies sold. One of Bryan's favorite recordings, Goodbye Girl, taps into a new vein, using a tender, Conway Twitty-like, soft voice. Dirt Road Diary, is the story of his life, he says; a song he envisions country boys driving down a dirt road listening to. We're so excited to host Luke in August, you just might need to pinch us. Sunday, August 16 12:00PM Music Gates Open 2:00PM Casey James Casey James Anyone who watched the 32-year-old's journey from American Idol to Sony Music Nashville won't be surprised to discover that the passion driving the guitar-slinging Texan has now been dialed to 11. His self-titled debut, released in 2012, won rave reviews from outlets like USA Today and Entertainment Weekly. Thanks to the Top 15 single Crying on a Suitcase, Casey has found new fans drawn in by what EW called his subtle grit. However, for James, moderate success wasn't good enough. On this still-untitled sophomore effort, he plans to deliver big time with his new single, Fall Apart. 4:00PM Tracy Lawrence Tracy Lawrence With thirteen million albums sold, 22 Billboard Top-Tens, 18 Number One singles and multiple ACM and CMA awards, Tracy Lawrence has helped shape the sound of country music for over two decades. He's one of the most recognizable voices in country music with songs such as Paint Me A Birmingham, Time Marches On, Alibis, and Find Out Who Your Friends Are. His most recent single, Lie, marks the most recent chapter of his career, the studio album Headlights, Taillights And Radios. The title carries a signature meaning for the artist. Headlights looking to the future; Taillights celebrating the past; and Radios a tribute to his radio success. This isn't just another release for Lawrence, it's a testament to how his music continues to evolve and engage fans. This eleven-song collection features some of his most progressive music to date. 6:00PM Chris Young Chris Young With six No. 1 hits under his belt at age 29, Grammy-nominated Chris Young has accomplished more than some artists do in a lifetime. Known for his classic baritone and melt-your-heart ballads Young knows how to have a good time, too. His fourth album, A.M., sounds nothing like his previous albums, yet it remains defiantly, definitely country. The Top 5 hit Aw Naw, immediately sets the tone with an irreverent story about what Young calls an accidental party Hey, I just came to have one, and ended up staying all night. Its addictive four-on-the-floor vibe is tailor made for live sing-alongs, with a tongue-in-cheek title that's both ridiculous and ridiculously inescapable. Lighters in the Air' is about meeting someone and falling in love at a concert, losing yourself in that night, he says. The tender, traditional love song Goodbye is evidence theres something deeper going on in the hours before the dawn. You might assume its a breakup song. But its about a relationship worth fighting for, showing up at somebodys house in the middle of the night and trying to work it out. Did we mention this Murfreesboro, TN native is a handsome charmer to boot? 8:00PM The Band Perry The Band Perry Fronted by Kimberly Perry and rounded out by her younger brothers Neil and Reid, The Band Perry ventured into the unknown when writing and recording their second album, Pioneer. Rather than covered wagons or astronauts on the moon, it's about marching forward and making noise, despite being unsure of how to get where you're going. The title track asks, Where are we going' What will become of us?' This is the first recording the trio feels truly captures the full-throttle intensity of The Band Perry's live show. Taken as a whole, Pioneer enables The Band Perry to accomplish one of its primary goals: to bring the romantic mystique of bands back to music. Whether it's the country-rock stomping empowerment anthem DONE., the blistering Night Gone Wasted, or the Queen-influenced Forever Mine Nevermind the songs were tailor-made for arena shows. There are also vulnerable, thoughtful tunes like Pioneer, Mother Like Mine, and End of Time, a ballad that recalls the band's Southern roots. The Band Perry has ascended to dizzying heights and is continuing to climb.
